8TH Anniversary

An unfiltered American Wheat beer spiced with coriander, orange peel, and ginger. Crisp and refreshing for Summer.

9TH Anniversary
5.0% alcohol / 28 IBUs                          
A refreshing Summer Ale brewed with 95% Koln malt for a smooth crisp body accentuated by Amarillo hops.

Amendment Pale Ale
5.5% alcohol / 28 IBUs                                
American-style pale ale with full malt flavor and fresh, floral, hoppy nose.

Anchorage Vacation

Antiquated IPA

A throwback to East Coast Brewpubs. English Ale yeast with a dark malty body and light on the hop aroma. A reminder that the West Coast is the Best Coast.
 
Autumn Wheat

A lightly dry hopped American Wheat beer perfect for those crisp autumn days.

Baby Horse

A  Belgian-inspired Quadruple with soft hints of apricots and candi sugar. Not street legal in California.
 
Back in Black

A dark IPA made with all the same hops as the 21A IPA and a touch of dark malt to give it a slight roasty flavor.
 
Barbera’s Blonde

Brewed in honor of the the Brewmaster's Mother. This pilsner-style light golden lager is crisp and lovely as the women it was made for. Happy Birthday Mom, Love your son, Shaun.

The Beer Hunter ‘08

Brew Free! or Die IPA

Brewed with some serious west coast attitude. This aromatic golden IPA starts with a sucker punch of six different hops to the nose, quickly balanced by a solid malt back bone.
 
Brew Libre! Ou Mourir

Claudia’s Kolsch

Cut Street Pilsner

Traditional Czech-style lager. Crisp malt and spicy hop flavor with German and Czech hops.
 
Dahm Kolsch

A German style blonde ale traditionally brewed in Cologne Germany. Light straw in color with a slight hop bite and smooth clean finish.

Darkness

Diesel Imperial Smoked Porter

Made with 60% beechwood smoked malt to give this robust porter a thick smoked character.

Double Star Red
7.8% alcohol / 65 IBUs                                
An Imperial version of our North Star Red with even more malt body and hop character.

Double Tripel
9.3% alcohol / 80 IBUs
Quite simply A Belgian styled double ipa. It’s Our double trouble recipe brewed as usual with a Belgian trappist yeast thrown in to ferment this high gravity monster. We don’t control the temperature; just let the yeast do its thing producing wonderfully fruity esters that mesh so well with the plethora of floral west coast hops.

Firestone  Walker Velvet Merkin

FricoNeccia

This malt forward Pale Ale was brewed with fresh American Oak to give it a light lingering oak and tannin fisnish. Truly a “freak o’ nature”

General Pippo’s Porter

Golden Doom

Medium bodied Belgian golden strong ale. Slightly sweet with lingering spiciness.

Harvest Moon IPA
6.2% alcohol / 48 IBUs / $6                               
A light bodied IPA, brewed with 50lbs of Cascade and Simcoe wet hops, straight from the vine and in to the brew.                                 

Hell or High Watermelon Wheat
4.9% alcohol / 17 IBUs / $6                               
A classic American wheat beer using fresh watermelon. Straw-colored and refreshing with a kiss of watermelon aroma and flavor.

Hendrik’s Russian Imperial Espresso Stout
8.5% alcohol / 80 IBUs
A rich, intense Russian Imperial Stout with strong coffee and chocolate flavors. Brewed with three gallons of Cole Coffee Espresso.

Highway to Hell Watermelon Wheat Wine
9.8% alcohol / 32 IBUs.
A richer, stronger version of our summertime favorite watermelon wheat. BEWARE!!!!

Holiday Spiced Ale

Our 500th batch of beer made here at 563 2nd Street and in spite of the hop shortage in America we went BIG! HOLY SH** THAT’S A LOT OF HOPS!

La Folie

New Belgium Brewing’s interpretation of a traditional Belgian SOUR Brown. Aged in oak barrels for several years.

Leffe Blonde
6.6% alcohol / 13 IBUs                                
A refreshing Belgian Blonde Ale with golden color and a fruity aroma

2008 Lower de Boom Barley Wine
10.5% alcohol / 80 IBUs.
The original strong beer that started the revolution. From the deep English traditions stemming from cold, dark, damp winters but brewed with a bit of our west coast twist. This is a very balanced barleywine with just enough hops to give it a bite but not so much to send it over the edge.  A rich malt texture and slight caramel finish.

Lost Sailor Imperial Pilsner
8.6% abv  65 IBU’s
This may be our lightest beer in both color and body, but it is still pure heavyweight material. Made with 100% European Pilsner malt and lager yeast, the lost sailor has a crisp clean flavor with nice crisp hop finish.

McIntosh Cider
6.5% alcohol / $6.50
Two Rivers Cider Co. of Sacramento, CA. Fresh pressed single varietal cider straight from harvest.

Monk's Blood
8.3% alcohol / 35 IBUs
This beer is Pure trappist  hell! We Made this beauty with 6 types of sugar and one of our largest malt bills ever, we then threw a super hungry trappist ale yeast in the tanks and let it work its magic producing a rich flavorful mélange with huge overtones of dates and currants mixed with some sublime vanilla and roasted malts. Recipe and brew by homebrew chef Sean Paxton.
 
Motor Oil
7.4% alcohol / 50 IBUs
A viscous dark amber brew with big malt character balanced by a medium hop bitterness.
 
Myers Scotch Ale
9.3% alcohol / 23 IBUs                         
Deep and malty with lots of caramel flavor and chocolate undertones, using a British yeast.

Noir de Blanc
4.8% alcohol / 12 IBUS
Classic floral hints of coriander and orange peel, but brewed with dark malts and dry “hopped” with local TCHO chocolate nibs to give this darker cousin of a Belgian Wit a soft chocolaty body.

North Star Red
5.5% alcohol / 32 IBUs                             
A rich, malty red ale. Made with Oregon hops that impart a crisp bitterness to the finish.

Oktoberfest     
5.2% alcohol / 25 IBUs                             
Traditional German lager. Medium malt flavor with a crisp mineral finish. Brewed with German noble hops. Prost!

Old Rasputin Imperial Stout
9% alcohol / 75 IBUs
A rich, intense Russian Imperial Stout with robust palate, a fruity nose and warming finish.

Opening Day IPA
6.4% alcohol / 65 IBUs                    
Brewed once a year with all pale malt and Cascade hops. This is a lighter IPA with full flavor and a huge bouquet.

Oyster point Oyster Stout
4.9% alcohol / 35 IBUs.
Deep, rich black color. Sweet toffee and coffee aromas and flavors. Brewed with Hog Island Oysters.

Pomegranate  Cider
6.5% alcohol / $6.50
Two Rivers Cider Co. of Sacramento, CA. Sweet and tart, made with fresh Organic Pomegranates.

Potrero ESB
5.9% alcohol / 30 IBUs                                
Traditional English E.S.B. Made with English Malt & Hops. Water treated to duplicate the English Region where E.S.B. was originally produced.

Primus
6.1% alcohol / 16 IBU’s                        
Belgian Style Pale with a smooth malt body, slight esters and a little bit of spice in the hop finish.

Rathskeller Alt
5.2% alcohol / 35 IBUs             
An traditional German style Alt beer with a soft malt body and smooth finish.
 
Repeal rye
5.8% alcohol / 40 IBUs                             
A medium bodied pale ale brewed with Rye malt to give this beer a slightly spicy flavor and aroma. Brewed in honor of the re-legalization of beer brewing, April 7th, 1933.
 
Red Rocket
6.8% alcohol / 65 IBUs
Guest brew from Bear Republic. Full bodied, hoppy brew with a soft caramel malt finish.
 
Reunion ’08 Red Rye
6.5% alcohol / 35 IBUs                                
Malt forward character balanced by spice notes from the rye, caraway seeds, and hops. $1.00 from each pint goes to The Institute for Myeloma & Bone Cancer Research.

Reunion ’09 Double Wheat
7.2% alcohol / 16 IBUs / $7 16oz
Hazy golden with a pronounced citrus nose. Fruit and subtle spice notes dominate the pallet, with a rich, soft finish. $1.00 from each pint goes to The Institute for Myeloma & Bone Cancer Research.

Ripple Imperial chocolate porter
8.9% abv  40 ibu’s
This beer is deep and dark and truly reminiscent of  bittersweet chocolate. How could it not be with 6 lbs of cocoa nibs added to the mash tun and another 14 lbs of Tcho cocoa nibs added as a “dry hop” to the fermenter. That 20 lbs adds a wonderful chocolate aroma and bittersweet character to this robust porter. (Tcho is a local chocolate manufacturer located at pier 17, producing world class chocolate in a savvy new manner.)
 
Rustico

This dark bronze ale is loaded with English malts to give it lots of roasty and nutty character with slight chocolate undertones.
 
Saint Martin’s Abbey
5.7% alcohol / 20 IBUs
A deep copper Trappist-style beer made with Belgian malts and yeast. Rich and spicy.
 
Saint Patrick O’Sullivan’s Irish Red
5.4% alcohol / 35 IBUs
Aptly named for the Brewmaster’s Irish twin.  A malty red ale, served on NITROGEN to impart the luck of the Irish through its rich creamy texture
 
Schweick's English Mild
4.2% alcohol / 11 IBUs                                
A traditional English style Mild. Rich velvety body with low alcohol and subtle bitterness.                                   

South park blonde
5.1% alcohol / 17 IBUs                                
Straw-colored and light bodied, with imported German hops for a spicy aroma and crisp finish.
 
Speakeasy Prohibition

Brewed by Stone Brewing Co. Head Brewer Mitch Steele. This recipe features British malts and yeast juxtaposed with tons of fresh West Coast hops.
 
Trumer Pils
